The Profoto Zoom Rod S is the perfect tool for creative photographers who like to go the extra mile. It allows light to be modelled with minimal effort and is compatible with both flat and protruding fronts.
Attach the Zoom Rod S to a window (at least 34cm deep) and you'll get the light you want, from soft to hard. Use it with or without a diffuser to create the exact ambiance you are looking for. With the diffuser, you will have a more uniform light source and eliminate overexposed areas without losing power. Without the diffuser, the light output will be greater and you will achieve specular reflections.
The Zoom Rod S is compatible with all heat-resistant Profoto windows and Profoto Soft Zoom Reflectors.
The Zoom Rod Softbox Kit includes everything you need to create from soft light to hard light. This kit includes a Zoom Rod S, a 4' Octa RFi window and an RFi Speedring for Profoto, which will allow you to start creating immediately.
