SONY Alpha 7II + 24mm f1.4 GM

SONY has taken its line of full-frame cameras to the next level with the Alpha a7II mirrorless camera , which features 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilization with 4.5 stops of tilt-and-shake compensation, horizontal shift, vertical shift, and roll.Operation of the 24.3-megapixel series has been simplified with a redesigned grip, shutter release, and customizable controls. The a7II also features a moisture- and dust-resistant design, with a magnesium alloy body and a more robust lens mount. And, with refined algorithms and better utilization of the BIONZ X image processor, the a7II has an improved Fast Hybrid AF system that is approximately 30% faster than the previous model along with a 5 fps burst speed with continuous autofocus, as well as a 40% faster startup time. The 24.3-megapixel sensor enables high-resolution, low-light effective imaging with its ISO sensitivity range of 100 to 25,600. The BIONZ X image processor delivers high processing speeds and performance and front-end LSI (large-scale integration) enhances the early stages of image processing resulting in the most natural details and rich tones. And, 16-bit image processing and 14-bit RAW output preserves the detail provided by the sensor. In addition to highly detailed stills with smooth gradations, the a7II now has access to the high bit rate XAVC S format with 60p, 30p and 24p recording options, all at 50 Mbps. The look of movies can also be adjusted with profiles and photos, including the addition of the S-Log2 gamma setting with a dynamic range of approximately 1,300% of the standard sRGB spectrum. Timecode and user bit settings are available, as well as clean HDMI output for a variety of recording options. The advanced SONY Multi-Interface shoe extends compatibility options for flash, microphone and other accessories and, as a full-frame E-mount camera, the a7II is compatible with all present APS-C E-mount lenses in APS-C crop mode, as well as ZEISS and SONY of the new G-series full-frame E-mount lenses. Lens mount adapters with a tripod are also available for using E-mount lenses on E-mount cameras, and an optional dedicated battery grip allows for stable shooting and vertical orientation stability.Completing the a7II's imaging capabilities, both a 1.228.8k 3.0-dot 1.228k-dot LCD monitor and 2.36-million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder are available for monitoring and reviewing. Wi-Fi connectivity, with support for NFC, is available, too, for instant sharing of camera images, as well as remote camera control from a linked mobile device.

The Alpha a7II camera with its 24.3MP Exmor CMOS BIONZ Image Sensor and X Image Processor Incorporated into the a7II's redesigned body are a 24.3-megapixel Exmor CMOS image sensor and BIONZ X image processor, which work together to enable a wide dynamic range with minimal noise and rich subtle gradations. The camera boasts an ISO range of 100-51,200 that can be extended to ISO 50. In addition, this combination enables the a7II to reproduce details with excellent clarity. image quality that benefits is the use of detail reproduction technology and diffraction reduction technology that suppresses the effects of diffraction to reproduce fine details at small aperture settings. Add to this zone noise reduction to selectively apply different noise reduction to each area for clear images. In addition, the sensor features 16-bit image processing with 14-bit RAW output to preserve details and ensure optimum quality for subsequent adjustment. Also improved in this generation is metering performance, which is now possible down to a -1 EV score. In addition, the a7II will boot up approximately 40% faster than the previous generation for near-instantaneous on.

The Alpha a7II camera incorporates a 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE Image StabilizationEmbedded in the slim a7II is a remarkable 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilization system. This compensates for five types of camera shake encountered during handheld still and video recordings. This allows users to confidently use any lens, even adapted lenses, to obtain critical images without encountering camera shake blur. This system will compensate approximately 4.5 shutter speed stops to work with a wide variety of subjects. For long focal lengths, the system will correct for pitch and yaw adjustments. Macro and high-magnification images, on the other hand will benefit from the inclusion of horizontal and vertical shift compensation. And, all shooting styles will have the use of roll compensation. The 5-axis stabilization will work at all times, even when used with third-party lenses and adapters or lenses with an optical stabilization function. When using lenses that do not transmit image data from the camera, manual adjustments can be used to input the correct focal length and ensure stabilization. In addition, the viewfinder can be used to preview the amount of compensation by pressing the shutter release button halfway or enlarging the image.

The Alpha a7II camera 's Enhanced Hybrid Fast AF Utilizing 117 phase-detection and 25 contrast-detection autofocus points with a wide coverage area, the a7II can smoothly and quickly track fast-moving subjects throughout the frame. Optimized for speed and accuracy with an enhanced algorithm that improves performance by 30% compared to previous generations. This uniquely developed algorithm also more accurately predicts subject movement for tracking that is 1.5 times more accurate. In addition, it can capture images at a speed of 5 fps while with continuous autofocus and auto exposure. This can be captured in a burst of up to 77 frames when recording in JPEG L Fine format and a continuous AF display allows users to view active AF points. Another feature available with this AF system is an AF Location Lock that will analyze more scene information to provide dramatically improved accuracy and stability. Eye AF is also available, which will prioritize a subject's pupils for excellent portraits, even with a shallow depth of field.

Full HD video recording and XAVC S Format The Alpha a7IID camera shootsFull HD 1920 x 1080 video at frame rates of 60p, 30p, 24p and with the high bit rate format of 50 Mbps XAVC S. This results in excellent image quality with minimal noise and artifacts without requiring a large amount of disk space. . In addition, the system using linear PCM sound for high quality audio When recording internally, users record video with a 4:2:0 in 8-bit sampling, however, to further enhance image quality the a7II has clean HDMI output for use with an external recorder. This allows users to capture 4:2:2 uncompressed video and save it in an edit-ready format.

Timecode and User Bit Settings The Alpha a7II The a7II camera has multiple timecode recording options to meet different workflows. It has the standard 'Record Run' mode that only advances timecode during recording, as well as 'Free Run Timecode' that advances timecode even when not recording, which can be great for synchronizing multiple cameras at live events. It can also record timecode in both frame-skipping and non-remote modes. When recording internally the a7II is also capable of timecode output via HDMI.Customizable Color Profiles and S-Log2 GammaTo ensure that the a7II is able to utilize its wide dynamic range during video recording it incorporates extensive customizable color and gamma controls. Users can adjust gamma, black level, knee, color level, and more. Also users can utilize the same S-Log2 Gamma curve found in the high-end SONY Cinema cameras that squeezes up to 1300% more dynamic range into the video signal then traditional REC709, for greater post-production flexibility.
