Built on the basis of the popular LS C300d, Aputure 's LS C300d Mark II Light Storm LED Light Light Kit with V-Mount battery plate is an upgraded version with 20% more power, refined features and advanced connectivity. Aputure uses Chip on Board (COB) technology to produce a color temperature of 5500K, with a power consumption of only 350W, while emitting 3500 lux of light with an efficient reflector at a distance of 9.8'. In addition to energy efficiency, this device also has a CRI/TLCI rating of 96, indicating accuracy in color reproduction. The ballast/luminaire controller employs linear, logarithmic, exponential and S-curve attenuation from 0 to 100% and is separated from the luminaire body, making it lighter and reducing its size. A mounting base is included for use with an optional clamp, allowing coupling to a light bracket to distribute weight.

The performance of the LS C300d II is backed by its design. The all-aluminum construction goes through numerous manufacturing steps, and the reflector and fitting assembly is the BOWENS widely used S-type. A wireless remote control is included that allows you to control the on/off and dimming functions from distances up to 328'. And speaking of control, Aputure also offers the Bluetooth Sidus Link App Control that allows wireless adjustments of all light functions, as well as effects such as lighting, pulse, flash and explosion. Ideal for sound-sensitive environments, the LS C300d II can be seen but not heard thanks to a high-efficiency fan that can be turned off when absolute silence is required. The LS C300d II is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 110-240 VAC power supply, but it also has two battery plates, allowing you to use V-Mount batteries for external power when mains current is not available. The LS C300d II ships with a power cord, a DMX cable to connect to the ballast, a wireless remote control, a dock for an optional clamp, and a sturdy carrying case that can support 220 pounds to protect light during transport and storage.

Changing the game

A couple of years ago, Aputure impacted the industry with the 300d, creating a powerful and compact LED luminaire that could be easily modified. Filmmakers around the world were impressed by the capabilities of light, but encouraged by user feedback, Aputure produced the redesigned and improved 300d Mark II. The light is 20% brighter than its predecessor, more durable, more portable and "smarter" than the original 300d.

Even more output

Using the latest in Aputure COB LED technology, the 300d Mark II emits 20% more light than its predecessor. When combined with the optional Fresnel 2X, the 300d Mark II can produce up to 80,000 lux, approaching the luminance of a 575W HMI. And as always, the 5500K-balanced 300d Mark II maintains very accurate color fidelity with CRI/TLCI ratings of 96+.

A more robust lamp head

The 300d Mark II also features redesigned features, while maintaining the same form factor and lightweight aluminum body for aircraft as the original 300d. The last yoke allows for 360° rotation, and when combined with the 120d Mark II's handbrake locking mechanism, you can mount the light in any position, with any modifier.

Maximum efficiency with Hyper Reflector

The 300d Mark II is also the first Aputure light featuring the all-new and hyper-efficient 55° reflector. By slightly reducing the beam from 60 to 55° and redesigning the internal shape and coating of the reflector, Aputure was able to increase the output of the 300d II by more than 3 times, compared to the original design.

A redesign revolution

The control box is completely redesigned. Using Aputure's fanless heat sink design, the 300d Mark II's all-in-one control box is now completely quiet. Composed of a durable aluminum alloy, with a new hidden antenna and a military-grade parachord strap, the control box is ready to withstand the rigors of any film set. The 300d Mark II control box is also the first product to use the Aputure fast release clamp and plate system, allowing you to secure it firmly on any bracket, truss or speed rail.

Energy Solutions for Independent Filmmakers

The 300d Mark II can produce its maximum output by using two high-capacity V-Mount or Gold Mount batteries, but it also features advanced technology that allows you to turn on the light with a single battery up to half the output. The included 19.7' Neutrik cable provides the 300d II with a sturdy power connection and allows you the convenience of not having to grab a stinger to turn on the light.

Improved control functions

The control box of the 300d Mark II features 8 built-in lighting effects: Paparazzi, Spark, Lightning, Defective Bulb, TV, Pulse, Flash and Explosion, and there will be more in future firmware updates via the USB interface of the control box. The control box also features a shutter release button to activate lighting effects instantly.
