smallrig MANFROTTO type shoe 501PL

The smallrig MANFROTTO 501PL-Type quick release board is compatible with the 501PL MANFROTTO plates, allowing you to use it with tripod heads and other mounting systems that use the 501PL MANFROTTO board. It is designed to be mounted in selected cages smallrig , allowing you to mount the cage directly on a compatible fluid head or gimbal holder. The board has a large open area that allows you to access and install or remove the screw that holds your camera to the box. This allows you to mount or remove your camera from the box without removing the plate from the box.

The plate is compatible with certain cages smallrig, and is fixed to the cage by two screws. The superior part of the plate features rubber pads that protect the bottom of its cage from metal-to-metal contact with the plate. Index marks allow you to rebalance your cage in your fluid head or gimbal quickly. You can use this with any fluid head or gimbal that accepts a 501PL MANFROTTO plate, such as the Ronin-S DJI gimbal.

Assembly

  • The plate is mounted in its cage by two screws included. It has a large open area that allows access to the camera clamping screw without having to remove the plate from the cage.
