The XF IQ4 150MP Camera System uses the highest resolution full-frame medium format sensor available, ensuring that every RAW file has unprecedented detail. The 151 megapixel sensor generates 50 times more megapixels than the 101 megapixel Phase One sensor, resulting in a substantial 22% increase in resolution. The flexibility that comes with such resolution opens up new possibilities for large-scale printing, as well as flexibility that allows cropping and scaling of images to previously unimaginable levels

The IQ4 150MP Backside Illuminated (BSI) sensors introduce a new standard in digital sensor technology in full-frame medium format photography. The IQ4 150MP BSI sensor features an ultra-efficient pixel design that results in uninterrupted light capture in every single pixel, directly generating a more accurate rendering with more vibrant colors and details and more effective noise management, all within the RAW format.

The Infinity Platform is the core of IQ4, providing a new foundation for advancing image quality, optimizing workflow and feature performance. Capture One's advanced RAW editing core has been integrated directly into the Infinity Platform, giving you greater control over previewing and image settings, as well as opening the door to further customization of the RAW file at the time of capture. Capture One Inside ensures a more efficient and controlled workflow, bringing capture work closer to post-capture.

The full-frame medium format sensors used in the XF IQ4 Camera System are 1.5 times larger than medium format crop sensors, allowing you to capture more information, in other words: more detail and impressive results. Thanks to their size, you can realize your creative vision directly from the camera. We've expanded the flexibility of the results thanks to its extremely high resolution and incorporated 15 f-stops in the dynamic range: your options will grow exponentially.

In tune with the professional workflow, several connection options have been incorporated, capable of handling high bandwidth: Ethernet, USB-C and Wireless. All connection and local storage options can be customized to meet the specific needs of your workflow.
The wireless connection can be used to transfer RAW files to Capture One, in addition to being able to store them in-camera. This solution can be used as a backup or as a part of a customized workflow.

Ethernet grants the potential for a fully customized, integrated and dynamic workflow, providing the potential to capture on or through any Ethernet compatible device. Additionally, the long cable lengths and power that Ethernet offers eliminates any concerns regarding battery life or cable length.

USB-C offers a standard port type that is convenient for connecting to a wide variety of common devices. USB-C also presents multiple power integration options.

Both Ethernet and USB-C allow data transfer and system integration without the need for additional accessories, enabling transmission from local storage to any host without the need to remove the card. Considering the variety of cable lengths available, Ethernet and USB-C can be configured to suit your workflow needs.

The XF power supply allows you to charge the battery on the digital back or individually on the XF body without causing system delays or interruptions in operation, as long as the battery still has some charge left.
The IQ4 gets a power boost from Power over Ethernet (PoE) and USB-C, two connectivity options that are capable of delivering power directly to the camera system. Ethernet connectivity and PoE offer a power-free workflow when working in the studio, while external power supplies can be used to extend usage time when outdoors.
