Billingham Rucksack 35

Rucksack 35 Backpack'sclassic style fasteners, made of bridal leather on top of gain and solid brass make it a bag of true distinction. The careful thinking that has gone into all aspects of its design also makes it a perfect choice for those who want an alternative to a messenger-type bag.

As in the Hadley Hadley Pro or small main compartment it contains what we call a 'Photo Insert' a padded cube (with lid) made of foam covered with fabric that protects your camera equipment from all sides. This template is removable with two simple pop-clips by turning Backpack 35 into the ideal casual backpack.

It's not just this flexibility that marks the Rucksack 35 Backpack. Both the main compartment and the double zippers feature a front pocket that allows you to reach the camera quickly. In addition, both zippers are protected from the rain - the main compartment has a real leather finish edge that extends from the main body of the bag over the zipper. The smaller front pocket has a rear skirt secured with our bespoke brass grip (the clogball) for added security while still maintaining ease of access.

Next the front pocket are two solid brass loops to fix an optional water bottle holder (shortly) or our straps for the 5/8 tripod.

Backpack 35 has ergonomically designed shoulder straps lined with a spacer fabric to promote breathability, as well as having brass loops so that the straps can be easily adjusted.

Finally, like all Billinghams the bag features a three-layer waterproof fabric to protect the bag and its precious contents during a downpour - after all that is done in Britain!
