Add live streaming to the internet to your video production setup with Blackmagic Design's 4K Web Presenter. The Web Presenter 4K is a compact desktop device that allows you to connect any SDI video input and stream it live to the internet, using Ethernet or tethering via USB to your smartphone using a 5G or 4G connection. SDI and HDMI monitor outputs allow you to view a wide range of live status information along with your stream.

Usb Type-C port allows you to connect any USB video source, such as a webcam or computer, so it is capable of streaming 4K video and audio on any webcam-compatible platform and software, such as Skype, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Twitch, Periscope, Teams and more on Mac, Windows, Linux and Chrome OS. It supports H.264 codec and streams over RTMP and can stream in resolutions up to UHD 4K.

SDI and HDMI monitor ports provide detailed status information on your power, so you can monitor whether you are IN THE AIR, as well as input status such as bit depth and transmission quality, built-in audio input status, video and audio history, trend charts and video and audio meters. You can also see basic status information on the bright LCD display on the front of the unit. There is also an SDI loop output to monitor the original power and send it to a switch or router.

The compact form factor allows you to fit it directly into your transmission configuration and is compatible with optional rack racks in case you want to install it in a 1 RU rack. Its dual AC/DC redundant power input is useful in case you lose mains power and you can use the 4-pin XLR input for DC power. The Web Presenter 4K also supports Blackmagic ATEM Streaming Bridge to decode streams into HDMI or SDI signals for additional routing options.

Web Presenter allows you to enter any 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI video source up to 4K UHD.

4K output

The program and USB Type-C outputs support 4K UHD video. The unit will convert the 4K video if you are streaming in HD. By streaming 4K, it will pass 4K video as well as high-definition video to 4K.

Live Streaming Options

You can stream H.264 video over RTMP transmission protocols to the Internet over Ethernet or connect a 5G or 4G phone to use mobile data.

USB source as webcam

The built-in USB Type-C input works like a webcam, so you can connect a computer and use any streaming software, or even Skype or Zoom. Stream in 4K via the USB Type-C connector, if your software supports 4K.)

SDI and HDMI monitor outputs allow you to view the input video, as well as display accurate audio levels, in the air state, data rate and cache levels.

Feature-rich program status

The graph-based monitoring output includes a video view, audio meters with precise ballistics, trend graphs for codec and cache fill data rates, plus a summary of transmission settings and detailed SDI technical information.

Transmission status

There's a very large ON AIR indicator on the superior left side of the monitor output, so it's always clear when you're online and streaming. In addition, all your current transmission settings are clearly displayed.

Video input status

The technical details of the SDI input, such as the video standard and ancillary data, are displayed. Bit activity indicators allow you to see the quality and bit depth of the video before H.264 encoding.

Audio input status

The audio is removed from the SDI input and the channel status is displayed. The bit activity indicator allows you to check 16-, 20-bit, or 24-bit audio. You can even see which audio channels are present.

Audio and video history

The technical audio and video displays also include a 6-second history screen, so you can view the recent video input history. This ensures that you can instantly see what has been happening.

Trend charts

Trend charts under the video screen allow you to see the last 60 seconds of codec data rate and cache filling. In addition, the data rate of the codec is critical to ensure that your ISP provides you with sufficient internet speed.

Video and audio meters

A large area is dedicated to the video input screen and the large multi-segment audio meter with precise ballistics. You can even change the audio meter type of VU, PPM and more.
