To surpass its previous achievement with the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, Blackmagic Design adds an even more complete compact Super35 camera to its cinematic style lineup with the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro. The 6K Pro features all the recording, sensor, dynamic range, buttons and ports features like its predecessor, and adds a variety of important new features, such as a 5" tiltable HDR capacitive touchscreen LCD display with 1500 cd/m² brightness, an optional Pro EVF, integrated clear/2/4/6-stop ND filters, dual mini-XLR inputs, an accurate timecode clock, an NP-F570 L-series battery slot, and updated Gen 5 color technology.

With only a slightly larger form factor than the 6L, the 6K Pro records the same video resolutions of up to 50fps 6144 x 3456, and retains CANON's valuable active EF mount, allowing users to take advantage of the wide range of EF/EF-S-mount lenses available. The EF mount supports iris, autofocus and zoom functions via electronic communication when using compatible lenses.

The 6K Pro can turn a frame into two by cropping a second shot of a frame, scaling to 8K, or simply capturing rich, detailed footage with your favorite EF/EF-S mount lens. Updated Gen 5 internal color processing makes it easy to collate 6K Pro, 6K, and BMPCC 4K footage. Record using the CFast 2.0 and SD/UHS-II internal card slots or through the full-size HDMI port to an optional ATEM Mini switch for live streaming, or output via the USB Type-C port to capture longer clips to an external SSD. The 6K Pro includes a DaVinci Resolve Studio license and supports capturing Blackmagic raw from the sensor. Using the Raw format with sensor metadata simplifies editing to fit any project and makes editing with DaVinci Resolve easier.

The compact 6K Pro retains the familiar controls and menu design of the 6K model, such as up to 25,600 ISO support, 13 stops of dynamic range, and 1920 x 1080 HDR monitor output. Professional audio support now includes two mini XLR inputs with +48V phantom power, a 3.5mm stereo input, a mono speaker, a headphone jack, and an integrated stereo microphone system.

Additional professional features include lens metadata support, 3D LUT application for monitoring and recording, still image capture up to 21.2MP, and a multi-function grip that allows one-handed operation. Sync multiple cameras for a concert, event, or other multi-camera shots by connecting an external timecode generator to the 6K Pro internal timecode generator (accessed via the 3.5mm audio port). Then, save valuable time by using Resolve to automatically sync your multi-camera shots in the post.

In addition to the DaVinci Resolve Studio activation key, the 6K Pro comes with a 30W power supply that offers simultaneous battery charging, an MP-F570 battery, a lens port cap, and a camera strap. Optional accessories designed specifically for the 6K Pro include the BMPCC Pro EVF and BMPCC Pro Battery Grip, available separately.

Features of the CANON 100mm f2.8 L Macro IS USM lens

Designed primarily for close-up shooting, CANON 's EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM is a versatile L-series short main telephoto lens that's also suitable for portraits and other mid-range subjects. However, as a macro lens, this 100mm lens offers a maximum life-size magnification of 1:1 and a minimum focusing distance of 11.8". Complementing close-up shots includes an Image Stabilizer that minimizes camera shake by two points at maximum 1:1 magnification, or up to four stops at lower magnifications for sharper manual shots. They also contribute to smooth and intuitive handling, a ring-type USM and internal focus design deliver fast, quiet and accurate autofocus performance along with full-time manual focus override. As for its optical assets, an ultra-low dispersion element is introduced to control color fringes and chromatic aberrations, and a Super Spectra coating has been applied to suppress flare and ghosting to improve contrast and color fidelity. -Series lens, this 100mm f/2.8 is weather-sealed to work in harsh conditions.

• The short main telephoto lens is designed for full-frame EF-mount CANON DSLRs, however it can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a focal length equivalent to 160mm.

• An ultra-low dispersion (UD) element greatly reduces chromatic aberrations and color stripes to improve color clarity and accuracy.
• Super Spectra coating has been applied to individual elements to minimize ghosting and flare for greater contrast and color neutrality when working in bright lighting conditions.
• An optical image stabilizer helps minimize the appearance of camera shake to allow you to work better in low-light conditions and with slower shutter speeds. The efficiency of this system compensates for up to two stops of camera movement with a magnification of 1:1, three stops with a magnification of 1:2 and four stops with lower magnifications.
• A ring-type ultrasonic motor (USM) and internal focus design are employed to deliver fast, accurate and quiet autofocus performance as well as full-time manual focus override.
