Panasonic's Lumix DC-GH5 Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds digital camera provides an exceptional imaging platform for photographers who demand the best video and still photography quality they can get on a single compact camera. PANASONIC has presented its telephoto lens (H-ES50200) for its lumix range of cameras (Micro Four Thirds): the LEICA DG VARIO-ELMARIT of 50-200 mm (100-400 mm: equivalent in a 35 mm camera), F2.8-4.0 ASPH, the third that is launched within the range LEICA DG VARIO-ELMARIT F2.8-4.0.

The focal length covered by this telephoto lens ranges from an F2.8 (angular) to an F4.0 (telephoto). Compact in design, the latest addition to PANASONIC 's range of interchangeable lenses offers flexible framing to capture reality in detail, both in photography and for video recording.

Thanks to the nanocoating of the surface of the lenses used by PANASONIC, these telephoto lenses manage to reduce phantom flashes. The lens works with Dual I.S.*1 (image stabilizer) and Dual.I.S.2*2 when used in a mirrorless LUMIX DSLM camera.

The lens consists of 21 lens elements in 15 groups, two UED (Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion) lenses, two ED (ultra-reduced dispersion) and two spherical lenses. This lens system avoids chromatic distortions, eliminates practically all spherical diffraction and guarantees the best photographic quality, achieving high resolution and contrast from the center to the corners.

The sensor unit at max. 240 fps allows you to make the most of cameras with high-speed, high-precision contrast AF. It also helps reduce wobble and also excels in video recording performance. In addition to the quiet operation achieved by the internal focus drive system, the microstep system in the aperture control section helps the camera to smoothly achieve brightness changes when zooming or panning.
