Get the perfect exposure and color balance and save time on color grading, whether you're shooting with one camera or several. This color chart includes a number of color boxes, skin tone boxes, gray boxes, and lighting control boxes. They are arranged to offer maximum performance when used with vectorscopes and waveforms, whether from cameras or software.
Chromatic colors: two rows with six chromatic, saturated and unsaturated color boxes, specifically designed to match the color axis of a vectorscope. By offering two levels of color information, these colors allow you to achieve the ideal color balance in less time.
Skin tones: from light to dark with subtle nuances, it allows to reproduce the skin tones with total precision. To facilitate alignment, this row of boxes is located on the outer edge of the card.
Large gray level squares: Four large squares for a uniform gray balance, including white, 40IRE gray, deep gray, and glossy black. These levels are perfect for determining the best exposure whether using waveform, zebras or false colors. Use them to match the exposure and contrast of the cameras and ensure the correct representation of the midtones. These boxes are located in the center of the test chart to achieve maximum exposure, even in large sets.
Linear grayscale: Six colored boxes for a uniform gray balance. This row serves for the areas of light and shadow.
Lighting control boxes: Black and white colored boxes in two corners help determine uniform illumination throughout the chart
