Stop bath ILFORD
ILFORD STOP BATH ILFOSTOP 500 CC. ILFORD ILFOSTOP is a liquid STOP BATH. After developing, it is recommended that films and papers be rinsed in a stop bath to stop immediate development and neutralize the developer to help maintain the activity of the fixative bath. It is especially recommended for processing in paper tray, developing tank or film processor. ILFOSTOP helps maintain the activity and prolong the life of the fixative solution by reducing excess developer (alkaline) residues in the fixative bath (acid)
DESCRIPTION of the Stop Bath ILFORD
ILFORD ILFOSTOP is a low-odor citric acid stop bath that stops the further development of paper or film. It also prolongs the life of the fixative bath, maintaining the activity of its fixative solution, by neutralizing the developer.
We recommend that all black and white films and darkroom papers be rinsed with ILFOSTOP after developing, especially when processing paper plates/trays or deep tank processing films.
ILFOSTOP is available in bottles of 500 ml of concentrate, which makes 10 liters of working power solution.
