This is a complete x121F Graduate G2 Gray Neutral Density Filter COKIN Resin. It is often necessary or desirable to balance the intensity of light in one part of one scene with another. This is especially true in situations where you don't have full control of the light, such as in bright contrasting landscapes. Exposure for the foreground will produce a faded, overexposed sky, while exposure for the sky will leave the foreground dark and underexposed.

COKIN graduated gray ND filters are part clear, neutral density part. They allow the transition to be mixed into the scene, often imperceptibly. At ND.6 to clear, with a two-stop differential, usually compensate for the average bright sky-to-foreground situation and is also the most popular density in the series.
