This SONY 24-70mm f2.8 GM lens is built with three aspherical elements and includes a very precise xa (extreme aspherical) element recently developed, capable of reducing aberrations and offering the best possible resolution across the full zoom and aperture range, end to end, in all image files. In addition, an ED (extra-low dispersion) glass element and a Super ED element reduce chromatic aberrations to a minimum, maximizing resolution and bokek without generating unnatural colorations.
