The XF405 CANON camera is the professional solution to high definition recording. You will record in UHD 4k without losing detail with its powerful Dual-Pixel Autofocus (DPAF) and dual digic DV 6 image processors with high sensitivity.
Much of its incredible quality when capturing detail is due to its 1" CMOS sensor it also has two XLR audio inputs. Its lens has a 15x optical zoom and excellent five-axis optical image stabilization. What sets it apart from the XF400 is its 3G SDI input for transmitting information.

The XF405 CANON camcorder is a compact and ergonomic camera with 4K UHD capture, 1" CMOS sensor and two XLR audio inputs. The XF405's optics include an integrated 15x HD optical zoom with advanced zoom up to 30x, a nine-leaf iris for more natural reflections, and five-axis optical image stabilization. Professional-style features include Dual-Pixel Autofocus (DPAF) and DIGIC DV 6 dual image processors with high sensitivity and low noise, which support Wide DR Gamma.
The camera records Full HD 1080p and UHD 4K up to 60fps, captured in dual SD card slots, and outputs via HDMI 2.0 and 3G-SDI ports. On the audio side, the XF405 features four channels of audio with manual/automatic recording levels and two XLR inputs. Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to control camera functions through the browser and transfer proxy files. Camera control is also available with the included WL-D89 remote. Recording of XF-AVC UHD 4K 60p Long GOP is scheduled to be available via a firmware update in 2018.
