LENS DESIGN

With six elements in five groups, the Gaussian-like optical system provides incredible image performance and a natural-looking blurred background. It is possible to perform the focus up to 0.5 m. The lens is recommended for a range of subjects, from still life photography to portraits and landscapes. The reverse tilting mechanism for manipulating depth of field allows the photographer to obtain unique images, impossible to obtain with normal lenses.

MAXIMUM FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT

With ±8° of tilting motion, ±11 mm of rotation and ±90° of rotation, the TS-E 90 m f/2.8 offers control over depth of field and perspective. The tilting and turning mechanism also features locks to prevent unwanted movements.

SUPER SPECTRA COATING

Super Spectra coatings ensure accurate color balance and improve contrast. They also reduce flashes and shadows, a common problem caused by light bouncing off the camera's sensor.
