An 8.3 MP Super 35 mm CMOS sensor, designed and manufactured by CANON specifically for video capture, delivers stunning Full HD images. Combined with a new video processing system, using technology designed for the EOS C500 digital cinema camera, it delivers outstanding high-resolution images with increased sensitivity (up to ISO 102,400), low noise, rolling shutter artifact reduction and beautiful depth-of-field reduction. CANON Log Gamma offers 12 steps of latitude (800% dynamic range) for maximum post-production flexibility, while the Wide DR option enables faster delivery by providing wide dynamic range images without the need for color adjustment.

State-of-the-art autofocus for greater control

The EOS C100 Mark II features Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus, which offers great control with minimal effort. Continuous AF automatically tracks subjects and locks them in the center of the screen, making it easy to record action scenes. The enhanced precision single-shot AF makes focusing even easier.

It also includes Face Detection AF, which reacts to the subject's face, allowing the filmmaker to record interviews and focus more easily.

Select the settings that best suit your production

Shoot without limitations to meet your production goals. Record up to a maximum of 1080/60p in AVCHD or MP4 format on two SD memory cards, with uninterrupted, simultaneous recording, plus slow and fast motion in MP4 for greater creative impact. You can also capture AVCHD footage in HD while recording MP4 files in SD resolution, for a highly flexible workflow and fast turnaround.

The versatile EOS C100 Mark II is the perfect match for the ambitious filmmaker. It's lightweight and easy to carry, with a durable, splash-resistant body built to stand up to the elements. It's also very easy to use. The 3.5", 1.23 million-pixel OLED screen and tilting electronic viewfinder put you in control of your shooting at all times. Additional automatic functions include Forced Auto Iris and Auto White Balance, while expert users can use manual control. Powerful Focus Assist functions facilitate manual focusing.

Share easily, enjoy greater control

Built-in Wi-Fi makes it easy to transfer and share files via FTP, in addition to using the browser-based remote control. The RC-V100 remote control from CANON further expands control options by giving you the freedom to record from previously inaccessible locations.

External recording capabilities

Thanks to the HDMI output, the EOS C100 Mark II meets the quality demands of the most demanding productions, and allows recording at high bit rates to external devices. Timecode can be included in addition to audio and video files.
