  The PowerShot G1 X Mark II's large 1.5-type sensor has a surface area similar to APS-C, measuring 18.7 x 14.0 mm. It employs 12.8 megapixel resolution (3:2) and CMOS technology from CANON to deliver DSLR-level image quality. The multi-format sensor allows images to be captured at 12.8 MP in 3:2 format, or at 13.1 MP in 4:3 format at the same real focal length

  Initiates a Wi-Fi connection between the PowerShot G1 X Mark II and a compatible smart device via the camera's Mobile Device Connect Button or NFC. Once connected, the CANON CameraWindow app allows the PowerShot G1 X Mark II to be controlled wirelessly from up to 5m away.
