The 2x factor Teleconverter effect makes this zoom of the aforementioned telephoto lens become a 300-1200mm. Not bad for a TV, right??
The dedicated design retains full communication between the lens and cameras NIKON or CANON, including auto exposure measurement, autofocus on selection focal lengths and vibration compensation image stabilization, and a BBAR coating has also been applied to suppress reflections and ghosting for a careful image quality. In addition, this teleconverter also features a dust and moisture-resistant construction, matching the lens, to benefit working in adverse environmental conditions.
2x tele extends the lens range 150-600mm by 40% with only a single stop loss in exposure.
BBAR coating maintains image quality by reducing flares, reflections, and ghosting.
The TAMRON 2x AF Multiplier G2 with dedicated design retains complete electronic communication between the lens and the camera to support AE and VC functions, as well as autofocus at selected focal lengths based on the specific camera's autofocus sensitivity.
