With 25% more brightness than its predecessor, DMX control, and a redesigned handbrake locking yoke, Aputure 's Light Storm LS C120D II LED daylight light is an on-board chip device (COB) with a color temperature of 5500K. It consumes a negligible power of 180 W while emitting 135,000 lux, equivalent to a hot light of 1000 W at a distance of 1.6' with an optional Fresnel. In addition to energy efficiency, the device also features a high CRI/TLCI rating of 96/97, an accurate color reproduction indicator.

Ideal for sound-sensitive environments, the LS C120D II is seen but not heard thanks to a smart cooling system that employs a temperature-sensitive fan to regulate heat. There is also an Auto/Force button that activates maximum cooling. In any case, even at maximum power, the noise of the fan does not exceed 18 dB: basically the sound of a person breathing.

The performance of the LS C120D II is backed by its design. The all-aluminum construction goes through more than a hundred manufacturing steps. The reflector and accessory mounting are of the S type of BOWENS widely used, while the wired controller is separated from the body of the device, which makes it lighter and reduces its size. You can make light intensity adjustments locally on the device or remotely with an included wireless remote that allows you to control dimming functions from a distance of up to 328'. Another way to turn the light on and off or dim it from 1 to 100% is through DMX integrated remotely from a console. The LS C120D II is ready for use worldwide thanks to its controller's 110-240 VAC power supply. You can also use your golden mounting battery plate for external battery power when mains power is not available. The LS C120D II is delivered as a kit with a reflector, controller and dedicated carrying bag to protect light during travel and storage.

25% brighter than the predecessor

• The LS C120D II features a luminance of 135,000 lux at 1.6' distance with the optional Fresnel Aputure . With an approximate brightness equivalent to a 1000W tungsten light, the C120D II is almost 25% brighter than the first-generation C120D, making it competitive with some of the highest quality studio lights on the market.

Exact color

• The LS C120 II features a CRI of 96 and a color temperature of 5500K. In addition, its TLCI has been measured at up to 97. The TLCI television lighting consistency index is the accurate measurement of the color fidelity of a light source for transmission use; a high rating shows that a light source will reproduce colors well in the context of a film or photograph. Therefore, the LS C120D II will display natural colors in both photography and video applications.

DMX512 Capacity

Auto/Force: Powerful temperature control

• The LS C120D II has an intelligent temperature control system. The rotation of the fan will vary depending on the corresponding ambient temperature. The fan can also reach maximum rotation when you activate Auto/Force mode. This complex fan system improves both heat dissipation efficiency and LED life.

Silent operation

• Some lights that use a fan system are too noisy and are not suitable for film or video production. However, the LS C120D II with its built-in electric fan produces only 18 dB of noise, similar to the sound of a person's breathing. That means the fan noise is negligible, even at the maximum output.
