Luxury multilayer finish on the exterior of the camera

The X-T1 silver graphite edition uses a unique three-layer coating process that offers a striking and very strong finish. The three layers are applied to the camera body as follows:

• First layer: After performing the antioxidant treatment on the magnesium body, a layer of primer (base paint) of matt black color is applied. This layer intensifies the tones and makes the reflections stand out.
• Second layer: Thin layers of ultrafine paint particles are applied using a computer-controlled thin-film multilayer coating technology to give a silver graphite coating while the camera body rotates at high speed. This technique provides a uniform finish and a sumptuous shine.
• Third layer: It is a transparent layer to give a deep gloss finish. With the addition of a small amount of black to the colorless, transparent coating, the color tone subtly changes based on how light reaches the camera body and highlights its shape and exterior design.

• New high-speed electronic trigger with a maximum speed of 1/32000 sec.*1

  The lens of the FUJINON XF series includes several fast lenses of fixed focal length, which favor a very high sharpness with the aperture fully open and produce an excellent "bokeh". However, it is impossible to use the fast apertures if the light is too bright, so to ensure that users can create shallow depth of field effects, the camera is now equipped with an all-electronic shutter release that offers a maximum shutter speed of 1/32000 sec. The mechanical shutter does not work at all if any speed has been selected for the electronic trigger. It also offers a totally silent shooting experience and is perfect for getting pictures of sleeping children, pets, weddings, etc. In addition, the electronic trigger can be set in steps of 1/3 in an interval of 1 sec. to 1/32000 sec.

  The X-series film simulation modes embody the richness of Fujifilm's color reproduction technology expertise. A novelty of the effects set is Classic Chrome, which offers delicate colors and perfect soft tones reminiscent of old color reverse movies. When using Classic Chrome in cityscapes, for example, you get images with a historical look while fashion photographs gain an emotional and nostalgic tone. Classic Chrome reinforces the film simulation range and enhances the creative power of the X-T1.

  One of the biggest advantages of the electronic viewfinder is that it allows users to check the actual tones and colors of the image before pressing the shutter release: what you see is what you will get. However, if image quality settings are set to high saturation or high contrast, for example, this option sometimes causes problems in checking subtle details in shadow areas or can cause eye strain if used for a long period of time. To avoid this problem, the X-T1 silver graphite edition includes a new feature that removes image quality adjustments from the viewfinder image while shooting, and displays natural, realistic images, close to what the human eye would see through an optical viewfinder.
