Compact and portable, yet rugged enough to handle even the most testing of conditions, Fujifilm's blue FinePix XP80 digital camera is a one-and-shot with a water point, shock, freeze, and dustproof construction. A 16.4MP 1/2.3" BSI-CMOS sensor produces high-resolution still images and full 1080p HD video, which is complemented by a 5x Fujinon zoom lens covering an equivalent focal length of 28-140mm. Optical image stabilization minimizes the appearance of camera shake while a dedicated camera action mode works with an optional conversion lens to enable hands-free, body or mounted equipment use. A rear LCD monitor features an anti-reflective coating for increased visibility in a variety of lighting conditions, and built in Wi-Fi-Fi connectivity enables image transfer to linked mobile devices with a single touch, as well as wireless remote control shooting from smartphones and tablets.

16.4MP BSI-CMOS sensor
A 16.4MP 1/2.3" BSI-CMOS sensor is capable of producing high-resolution still image and full HD video recording at 60 fps, as well as high-speed 240 fps recording for slow motion output. Movie editing is possible in-camera and sound is recorded via the built-in mono microphone with an integrated wind filter. For shooting, high-speed processing enables full resolution burst shooting at speeds up to 10 frames per second for 10 frames or even 60 fps burst shooting at up to 70 frames with reduced resolution

Fujinon 5x optical zoom
A 5x optical zoom lens is integrated into the camera design, giving an equivalent focal length of 28-140mm. To better make the image clear and sharp, shift-sensitive image stabilization helps reduce the appearance of camera shake to benefit working in low-light conditions and at higher zoom magnifications. In addition, intelligent digital zoom can effectively double the 10x zoom range with minimal image degradation.
Wi-Fi Connectivity
Wi-Fi connectivity allows for instant sharing of images directly to a mobile device, and is easily accessible via a dedicated Wi-Fi button on the back of the camera. In addition, remote shooting is also possible using the Fujifilm Remote Camera app.
Other camera features
  • Action mode of the camera allows you to record HD videos while participating in sports or activities at the same time. When working in this mode and using an optional 18mm equivalent / 18mm equivalent device mount conversion lens, the LCD monitor will automatically turn off once recording has begun in order to preserve battery life and extend recording times.

  • SR AUTO optimizes exposure settings based on recognized scene types.

  • AF Tracking helps keep the focus on moving subjects.
  • Low Light Pro mode automatically records four sequential frames and blends them together in order to achieve higher sensitivity and reduced noise levels.
  • Natural Light & Flash will automatically capture two exposures at once: one with flash and one without.
  • Face Detection optimizes exposure settings based on up to 10 recognized faces, and can detect and remove red-eye automatically.
  • A Face Detection Timer function will automatically release the shutter, balance the exposure, and set the proper focus once the specified number and position of faces in a scene are detected.
  • Built-in social networking allows you to pre-tag and tag images and video in-camera before downloading the images to your computer. Once tagged and delegated to the social platform of your choice, the images will automatically upload once you connect the camera to your computer.
  • An HDR (High Dynamic Range) mode allows you to obtain greater detail in the light and dark regions of a scene in order to avoid overexposed highlights or blocked shadows.
  • Motion Panorama 360 allows you to record a wide view up to 360° wide in a seamless, sweeping manner.
