The Shinobi 7 Atomos Monitor can be used in the brightest environments to monitor signals up to 4Kp60 via HDMI or SDI. An ideal monitor for directors, a focus extractor monitor, a program or a preview screen for video switches, and perfect for vloggers presenting to the camera.

Control your favorite cameras by using the Shinobi 7's intuitive touchscreen, designed to give you quick access to the camera's most important features. Focus on the beautiful image and make dynamic adjustments of iris, white balance, shutter angle and ND. With the optional USB-C to Serial Atomos cable, support is available from the get-go for the Z Cam E2 series camera, providing direct control of all menu settings. The USB and RJ45 control ports you own when buying Atomos Shinobi 7 provide support for future developments, as more options for touchscreen camera control are added.

Real HDR

The Shinobi 7 Atomos Monitor displays more than 10 stops of real-time dynamic range from Log/PQ/HLG signals. Combined with our unique HDR monitoring features, the Shinobi 7 simplifies the complexities of logging Log and HDR, helping you replicate post-production workflows at the time when it matters most, while shooting. Built-in 3D LUT-Box

In addition to registration to HDR conversions, you can also use your own custom 3D LUT to power other devices or live. Load up to eight custom LUTs at any time through the SD card slot and instantly select from them, keeping creative intent at all times. When used with selfie mode, the large screen acts as a perfect trusted monitor that allows you to "bake" a LUT at the entrance of your camera, to achieve your LOOK in capturing that perfect piece for the camera.

Atomos "analysis" mode

We understand how important it is to see what you are filming at all times. With Shinobi's analysis feature, you can simultaneously see what you're filming, a waveform, a histogram, and a vectorscope, ensuring complete control of your image. You can even switch between different waveform, histogram, and vectorscope options on the fly with a single tap.

Continuous energy

With two battery slots, you can easily change batteries hot during filming and never get stuck without power. The Shinobi was designed from the ground up to optimize battery usage while monitoring, as dual slots combine to allow you to run around all day. The dedicated locking DC plug input allows you to connect to the mains power in the set, and can be used with the optional DC to DTAP cable with V-lock batteries to power the Shinobi 7 in the field.

Pro I/O and cross-conversion

With support for up to 4Kp60 via HDMI inputs, by purchasing Atomos Shinobi 7 you can use any video workflow by allowing cross-conversion between 4K HDMI and 3G-SDI signals. Low-latency video signal output, with the ability to bring HDMI cameras into SDI workflows or vice versa without the need for additional converters.

Factory and user calibration

Shinobi 7, factory calibrated for Rec.709, also supports user calibration via the free Atomos Calibration software for continuous calibration. Using the optional USB-A or USB-C to Serial cable and X-Rite's i1DisplayPro/Plus, the calibration software easily automates the calibration of the Shinobi 7 Atomos Monitor to ensure accurate and reliable monitoring results.
