New camera lock and control cables.
Camera Control
A feature highly requested by original Shinobi users, camera control is now possible thanks to the addition of the USB-C connection.
Using specially designed on-screen sliders, you can adjust the white balance, lens aperture, shutter speed/angle, and ISO. A red-bordered display indicates when the camera is recording internally, whether the camera or the Shinobi II has activated it.
At launch, Shinobi II will be able to control most mirrorless cameras CANON, PANASONIC , and SONY via USB-C and all Z series CAM E2 models (LANC cable required and purchased separately). Fujifilm's cameras, NIKON, om system and SIGMA will be compatible with future firmware updates.
Cable Lock
Atomos has developed a unique and rugged locking ecosystem to maintain a secure grip on connected HDMI and USB-C cables, and Shinobi II is supplied with a special bracket to facilitate this. With Atomos locking cables (purchased separately), it is the most robust capture cable system available today. Shinobi II is also fully compatible with standard non-blocking cables.

Calibrated colors that are true to life
Calibration is the key to a reliable monitor. Shinobi II can be calibrated with an X-Rite/Calibrite probe or with the Atomos Calibrator app for accurate and consistent HDR and Rec.709 monitoring. Accurate monitoring ensures reliable results.

Developed with atomos
Shinobi II runs on our atomos platform and is equipped with a wide set of oscilloscopes and simple one-touch operations. Shinobi II includes monitoring tools for focus, framing, and exposure, including maximum focus, 4:1 / 2:1 / 1:1 zoom, zebra, false color, framing guides, SMPTE safe area, grid markers, waveform RGB parade, vectorscope, a multi-view "analysis" view and a flexible 3D and 1D LUT, profile and preset support (loading .cube files via SD card), and options for anamorphic decompression monitoring (2x, 1.8x, 1.79x, 1.65x, 1.6x, 1.5x, 1.33x, 1.25x).
