PANASONIC DMW-BGS1 Battery Grip for LUMIX S1 and S1R (DMW-BGS1E). Please note: No battery is included with the battery grip.

Extended battery life for active outdoor shooting:

Using two batteries, one in the camera and the other in the grip, the DMW-BGS1 doubles battery life for extended shots. When charging the camera via USB the LUMIX S1R/S1 is simultaneously charged, this accessory also makes the grip more comfortable, even in vertical angle shots. It fits perfectly into the camera, with the same style of buttons and intuitive joystick control. This grip has dust and splash resistant resistance and is designed to be used at temperatures as low as -10°C.
