50mm f1 Fuji lens

The 50mm f1 .0R WR FUJI Lens is an ultra-fast medium telephoto fixed lens with a focal length of 50mm (equivalent to 76mm of
the 35 mm film format) and a maximum aperture of F1.0. Being the fastest interchangeable lens Fujifilm has ever made
produced, achieves unparalleled resolving power thanks to its large diameter design, which also produces beautiful
bokeh, blurring backgrounds with a rich softness. The lens can also be stopped to
sharpness of the edges, which adds versatility to the way it can be used to create images.
The inclusion of a DC autofocus motor in XF50mmF1.0 enables fast and accurate autofocus even when images
are made with the maximum aperture F1.0. Since this can result in an extremely low depth of field, the target also
uses the facial/eye AF function of the X series cameras to achieve critical focus when making portraits, which is something
that's pretty hard to achieve when you focus manually.
For times when manual focus is required, such as when recording a video, the manual focus ring provides 120 degrees of
rotation to allow precise and improved control and fast travel through the focus range to infinity. Finally, despite being
a large diameter F1.0 lens, its weight, size and weather protection make it a practical choice for any professional image
maker.

(1) Achieve incredibly shallow depth of field

The XF50mmF1.0 R WR consists of 12 lens elements in nine groups and also contains one aspherical element and two
ED elements to achieve optimal control of spherical aberration. Used on or near its F1.0 maximum aperture,
XF50mmF1.0 R WR can produce an astonishingly narrow depth of field. Its precision rounded diaphragm
produces a large, smooth bokeh for a professional appearance, allowing you to create portraits with surprising simplicity and a
almost three-dimensional quality with wonderful edge-to-edge sharpness. You can use this new power in selective focus
to keep only the subject's eyes in focus and make captivating character studies in the foreground. But it's not just for portraits.
Take this lens to the street or to a lifestyle session and turn messy places into clean backgrounds with
unparalleled subject separation.

(2) Be prepared to make images more easily in low-light conditions

The very wide maximum aperture in XF50mmF1.0 R WR means there are more options when it comes to making
images in low light conditions. At night, or in dark interiors, XF50mmF1.0 R WR offers the widest apertures yet
seen in an XF lens, allowing you to attract more light to create an image. XF50mmF1.0 R WR lens also easily
achieves fast shutter speeds that freeze motion and keep the ISO setting lower for detail-rich results. Alternatively
Combine high ISO settings with the F1.0 aperture for incredible versatility and use it in other low-light applications such as
astrophotography.

(3) The world's first F1.0 autofocus lens for mirrorless cameras

As the world's first F1.0 autofocus lens designed for any mirrorless system, including full-frame, the XF50mmF1.0 offers more
Light to the sensor than any previous XF lens, making it possible for autofocus to operate at a luminance level of -7EV.
The previous luminance level limit of -6EV was achieved using lenses with a maximum aperture of F1.4, (*2) X Series
users now have fast and accurate autofocus in low light, even in near darkness. With the added benefits of on-sensor
Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), Face/Eye AF and a powerful DC motor, accurate and fast autofocus at shallow depth
Depths of field is now a possibility.

(4) Precise focus for those critical moments

To make the most of your super shallow depth of field, the focus must be precise. As a result, XF50mmF1.0 has a focus
ring that is eight times more accurate than any previous XF lens. This makes it possible to change the focus of the
Minimum focusing distance to infinity with great precision. To do this, XF50mmF1.0 R WR uses 120º rotation in its focus
ring to allow you to focus manually without errors and achieve accurate focus when using X Series camera focus

Focus and peak assist modes. The 120º rotation also makes autofocus movements remarkably accurate and
deliberate, while lens engineering is designed to minimize the effects of focus shifting when making images.
(5) Designed to keep images coming

Despite being a fast F1.0 lens, the XF50mmF1.0 R WR is a lens you can use to take amazing shots almost anywhere.
With a length of 103.5 mm (4.07 inches) and a weight of 845 grams (1.86 pounds), the lens is still quite compact and portable.
Like all other weatherproof XF lenses, it is sealed in 11 locations to protect against moisture and dust, as well as
being able to be used in temperatures down to -10°C (14°F). When combined with a similarly specified weatherproof X
The XF50mmF1.0 R WR series mirrorless digital camera body allows you to create unique images in the toughest environments.
