• An advanced optical design has been used to overcome the distortion tendency of ultra-wide-angle lenses and control distortion without the need for digital correction. This allows you to achieve a high resolution in all corners of this ultra-wide-angle lens

  The structure of the lens is composed of 10 elements in seven groups, including two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements, plus a rounded seven-leaf diaphragm. The lens incorporates distance and depth of field scales into the drum, making it suitable for different shooting techniques, such as pre-focusing.

  Thanks to its maximum aperture of F2.8, the lens is suitable for low-light photography. The short minimum shooting distance of 18mm* means you can effectively blur the background while giving the sense of perspective characteristic of ultra-wide-angle lenses.

  The Fujifilm X mount has a short rear focus distance of just 13.3 mm, which prevents vignetting and achieves clarity and luminosity in all corners. Image distortion and chromatic aberration are well controlled for high resolution at all corners of the image, making the lens perfect for landscape photography.
