24mm f1.8G EDNIKON lens
The 24mm f1.8G ED lensNIKON Designed for use with FX image sensors, this lens is also compatible with DX sensors where an equivalent focal length of 36mm will be provided.
- Bright f/1.8 Maximum Aperture supports working in low light conditions and also allows for greater focus position control for the depth of field images.
- Two extra-low dispersion glass elements and two aspherical elements help minimize chromatic aberrations and distortions in order to maintain a high degree of sharpness, clarity and color accuracy.
- Silent wave motor autofocus mechanism provides fast, quiet and accurate autofocus performance that is ideal for both still images and video.
- Full-time manual focus allows instant switching between AF and MF focusing systems by simply turning the focus ring at any time.
- Rear focus system only moves the rear group of the lens during focusing, offers fast focusing speeds, and maintains the overall length of the lens during operation.
- A Nano Crystal Layer, along with an Integrated Coating from Super, has been applied to lens elements to minimize surface area and internal reflections for a marked reduction of lens flare and ghosting.
