Nikon 50mm f1.4G AF-S lens

The NIKON 50mm f1.4G AF-S lens is a standard lens with an ultra-bright f/1.4 aperture design, allowing for fast, accurate shooting with available light. It is also the ideal place for when a depth of field is desired. An ideal portrait lens when used on a DX-format DSLR NIKON, the angle of view similar to that of a 75mm lens on an FX-format NIKON DSLR camera or a 35mm film camera approximates.

The optical design of this lens minimizes reflections and chromatic aberration. The SWM (Silent Wave Motor) function ensures fast focusing and calm action, and the nine rounded diaphragm blades makes out of focus smoothly blending elements to produce harmonious, natural-looking backgrounds.

An ideal primary lens, ideal for full-length portraits, travel photography or any type of shot available light.

Note: Nikkor G-type lenses do not have aperture control ring and are intended for use in NIKON DSLRs that allow lens aperture to be adjusted via camera command line.
