85mm f1.4G NIKON lens
The NIKON 85mm f1.4G AF S lens from NIKON is the first short telephoto lens designed for FX format DSLR cameras, but when used with cameras with a DX format sensor it has an equivalent focal length of 127.5mm. It provides effective focal length portrait distortion for free as well as other telephoto apps. Its ultra-fast f/1.4 Maximum aperture is very effective in low light conditions and together with the rounded 9-sheet diaphragm will create natural out-of-focus backgrounds that isolate the main subject from an impressive professional look.
The M/A focus mode allows you to quickly switch between manual and autofocus and the silent wave motor and internal focus system will allow for fast and quiet autofocus, ideal for video recording. Nano Crystal and S uper integrated lens coating improve light transmission, reducing ghosting and glare.
- High-performance f/1.4 mid-range telephoto offers a bright viewfinder image, along with beautiful background blurring, ideal for portraits.
- DX-DSLR format angle of view is equivalent to a focal length of 127.5mm in the 35mm format.
- Nano Crystal Coat and Super Integrated Coating improve light transmission efficiency and reduce ghosting and interior glare across a wide range of wavelengths for greater image clarity.
- NIKON silent wave motor (SWM) enables fast, accurate and quiet autofocus.
- M/A mode focus switch allows quick switches between manual operation and autofocus.
- Internal Focus (IF) offers fast and quiet autofocus, keeping the working distance over the entire focus range. This also helps maintain the positioning of a polarizing hood or target.
- Round 9-blade diaphragm Allows a more natural appearance to elements of the image out of focus.
