In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of TAMRON of the SP series of lenses, the EF-mount SP 35mm f/1.4 Di USD CANON has been created to showcase its lens manufacturing capabilities. This first flexible wide-angle is ideal for general photography applications, from street photography to event photography, and its impressively bright maximum aperture of f/1.4 excels in difficult lighting conditions and offers greater control over depth of field. Complementing the versatility of the lens design, a USD ring-type motor is also employed to ensure fast and quiet autofocus performance along with uninterrupted full-time manual focus override.

• The first wide-angle is designed for ef-mount full-frame CANON cameras, however, it can also be used with APS-C models where it provides an equivalent focal length of 56mm.
• The maximum aperture of f/1.4 fast suits working in low-light conditions and also provides extensive control over depth of field to isolate subjects using selective focusing techniques.
• The ring-type USD (silent ultrasonic) motor is used for fast, accurate and quiet autofocus that benefits both still images and video recording. This motor also allows full-time manual focus control without having to switch to a dedicated MF mode.
