Within line 4 of the GT4533LS series it was given the designation "long", as it can extend from a minimum height of 4.3", with a maximum height of 61.4", all while maintaining an impressive weight capacity of 55 lbs. The patented 6X carbon addition of GITZO eXact tube, the GT4533LS sports maximum rigidity while keeping its weight to an absolute minimum. Weighing 5.1 pounds allows the tripod to be carried or carried in the studio or in the field with ease. Its folded length of just 27.2" makes storing or traveling with the tripod easy and convenient.

The systematic line also features a number of unique, patented, and useful features that set a professional standard of quality. The key design element of the series is the use of 6X eXact carbon tubes from GITZO which are extremely rigid despite their lightweight design. The carbon tube is complemented by G-Lock Ultra twist-locks from GITZO that maintain stable, solid connections between sections of the legs and also prevent joint damage by blocking dirt, dust and moisture. Each leg on the tripod also features a 50mm rubber articulated foot, which provides a stable and versatile base for tripod adjustment on most surfaces. If necessary, the feet can be removed and replaced with metal tips for greater stability in sand, dirt, mud, snow and ice. The tripod base also features a -16 Easy Link 3/8" fixing thread, allowing the user to connect a variety of tripod accessories including magic arms, shoe adapters, LED lights, monitors, and more.
