the Godox VL150 LED video light is a lightweight and compact LED monolith-style light source suitable for portrait photographs, still lifes and locations, and also for video-based applications. The COB LED with daylight balance features a CRI rating of 96 and a TLCI rating of 95, producing high-precision color reproductions and extremely realistic skin tones. The lightweight VL150 body is operated and powered from an external controller, keeping it compact and lightweight. It features a silent fan and an integrated BOWENS -style reflector bracket, making it compatible with a wide range of light modifiers.

The controller box contains a single V-mount battery plate and an LCD display with intuitive controls and command dial to make adjustments to the light body locally. Settings can also be adjusted wirelessly using the radio remote available separately, or using Bluetooth-enabled portable devices with the GodoxPhoto app, available as a free download for iOS and Android devices.

Moving the V-mount battery plate and light controls out of the light body and inside the independent control box allows you to easily place the light where needed without the additional volume and weight of large V-mount cells. The controller case comes complete with a 4-pin XLR type power cable for easy placement. It features an antenna for wireless radio remote control available separately and a Bluetooth antenna for using the GodoxPhoto app on iOS or Android portable devices.
