Heliopan ND Vario Slim

The Heliopan 77mm Variable Gray filter ND is a neutral filter of variable density of solid providing a reduction of approximately 1 to 6 stops. The 0.3-1.8 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to shoot with a higher aperture or lower shutter speed than is normally needed. The degree of density is easily controlled by the front filter ring, allowing you to preview the duration of the additional exposure. By reducing the exposure time or increasing its aperture, they are able to control the depth of field and transmit movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image. This filter has a brass mounting ring that is painted matte black to help reduce reflections. The high quality of Schott glass offers optical clarity and higher contrast to help make scenes with greater fidelity and resolution. This filter does not have front threads for fixing other filters.
