The Ninja StarAtomos is a compact, lightweight HDMI recorder that stores video to CFast cards. Record up to 1080/30p video resolution via HDMI output of capable cameras and use-edit ready ProRes HQ Apple, 422, or LT codecs in 10-bit with 4:2:. 2-color sampling The Ninja Star offers recording options similar to Atomos Ninja monitor/recorder models, but strips away the monitor portion to create a lighter, more compact option. This is useful for users who want to keep their camera size platform manageable, or who already have an external monitor and want to add onboard ProRes recording. At just 4.6 oz, the recorder is still light enough for many quadcopter or multicopter configurations. Ninja Star records to readily available CFast cards (generation of one or later), which are highly reliable and offer fast speeds read/write speeds. It also features timecode and start/stop trigger support, an audio input line and a pass-through output via HDMI to send the signal to an external monitor. A battery charger and battery are included. For flexible mounting options, a mounting cheese plate is also included that offers a quarter"-20 threaded holes on the bottom and sides.



10-Bit 4:2:2 ProRes Recording
Record up to 1080p video in 4-edit 10-bit list: 2:2 Apple ProRes HQ, 422, or LT uncompressed HDMI output from the camera, bypassing a round of internal compression and data loss.
CFast
The star of Ninja video stores to a single CFast card, generation of one or later. CFast cards are small, reliable and available in sizes up to 256GB, providing up to 2 hours and 40 minutes of Apple ProRes HQ recording.
Start / Stop Trigger
Start shooting recording/stop and capture timecode synced directly from the camera with the Atomos 'HDMI SONY time activation code protocols, CANON, PANASONIC, NIKON, and JVC.
Audio Line-In
Record audio directly from the camera on the two embedded digital channels or add an external microphone through the audio line for an extra two channels of analog audio.
Micro HDMI Input with Output Loop
Ninja Estrella's micro HDMI input allows you to connect cameras with an HDMI output. A Micro-HDMI output loop is provided for display to send the signal to an additional device, such as an external monitor.
