The ONE R Twin Edition Insta360 is one of the key configurations of the ONE R modular action camera system. The Twin Edition includes the Core module, 4K Wide Angle Mod, Dual-Lens 360 Mod and the necessary battery base that holds the modules together. The Core module, which is the brain, and any other module of your choice, are mounted side by side at the base of the battery. The different modules can be exchanged indistinctly together with the Core module. A 1" wide-angle mod is also available, which captures video with a resolution of 5.3K, sold separately, and can be swapped. The ONE R allows you to tackle different applications with a single system.

The battery base has electronic contacts that connect two modules to work together as one. A mounting frame with a standard 3-pin action camera mount is also included. The entire configuration fits into the frame compactly. In this way, it can be connected to various stand accessories, including the dedicated ones that were designed specifically for this ONE R system. The ONE R system is designed to be waterproof without the need for a waterproof housing. But first it must be installed on the mounting frame. With the Core module and any of the other included modules connected to the battery base and then installed in the mounting frame, the system can be used up to 16' underwater.

The Core module has controls and a live touchscreen. When used with the 4K Mod, the live display screen can be set to forward or backward facing. In this way, you can record standard 4K videos, as well as selfie videos and vlogs. The 4K Mod also has FlowState Stabilization to make your recordings smoother.

With the 360 Mod setup, the Core module's live display can be swiped in all directions to see your shot from all angles and get a full 360° preview. While many other 360 cameras only allow such a preview in a mobile app, the ONE R system provides it in both the camera and the companion app.

One R App is offered as a free download for iOS and Android. One of its key features is a set of intuitive auto-editing functions, even for 360 content.

Other features of the ONE R include support for Bluetooth remote control from an Apple Watch or the dedicated GPS Insta360 smart remote, both sold separately. The innovative modular system also offers external microphone support via an optional USB Type-C to 3.5mm Insta360 adapter.

Note: The different modules are waterproof only after being fully assembled at the battery base and installed in the included mounting frame.
