The LUMIX S1H incorporates an image stabilizer (I.S.) into your I.S. body to effectively compensate for hand tremor. Combining the lumiX S series opticals' in-body (5-axis) and 2-axis optical image stabilizer (O.I.S.), the Dual I.S. 2 compensates for virtually any type of blur, allowing the use of a slower shutter speed by achieving up to 6.5 diaphragm stops*4. It incorporates an articulated rear monitor, an LVF electronic viewfinder and a large LCD screen, high resolution and great visibility. Its robust design provides professional photographers with high reliability.

LUMIX's S-Series Full Frame mirrorless camera system adopts the L-Mount system to provide users with a wide range of lenses. More than 46 interchangeable lenses, including at least 11 lenses for LUMIX S/S PRO that are or will soon be available thanks to PANASONIC, LEICA and SIGMA, as well as a wide variety of adapters/converters to further expand the range of possibilities. The L-Mount thus opens up to an almost unlimited spectrum of new creative possibilities.

The main features of the new LUMIX S1H are as follows:

  • High resolution up to 6K for multiple formats

Maximizing the use of pixels in the Full-Frame image sensor, the LUMIX S1H has achieved 6K/24p (3:2 aspect ratio) or 5.9K/30p (16:9 aspect ratio) video recording for the first time in the world.*1 It is also the first digital camera with interchangeable Full-Frame lenses*1 enabled for 10-bit 60p 4K/CPK video recording*2*3. It adapts to a wide variety of recording formats, including the 4:3 Anamorphic mode, to meet the needs of professionals. Its high resolution can also be used to create 4K videos with higher image quality or to crop images in 4K.

  • Gradation and a wide color space practically equal to that of cinema cameras

The LUMIX S1H offers V-Log/V-Gamut with a wide dynamic range of 14+ stops, equivalent to professional cinema cameras such as the Cinema VariCam, to accurately capture from dark to the brightest areas. Designed under consistent color management, the recorded footage of the S1H is compatible with V-Log footage recorded by VariCam or V-Log L recorded by the LUMIX GH5/GH5S.

  • High product reliability for unlimited video recording*7

In each recording mode of the S1H, the user can record video non-stop at the certified operating temperature so that the user can concentrate on capturing images.

Panasonic now offers three innovative models in lumiX's S Series of full-frame mirrorless cameras: the S1R, the S1 and the new S1H. The LUMIX S1R is ideal for taking high-resolution images; The LUMIX S1 is designed for photographers who need to work with the most extreme ISOs and with high quality for both photo and video; and the LUMIX S1H is designed and developed especially for film production. With this range of cameras, PANASONIC is committed to meeting the demands of all photography professionals by challenging the constant evolution of photography and video culture in the new digital age.

The main features of the Lens PANASONIC S 24-70mm

A contemporary version of the classic standard fast zoom, the PANASONIC Lumix S PRO 24-70mm f/2.8 is an L-mount short-angle to wide-angle telephoto lens that is characterized by its constant f/2.8 maximum aperture and sophisticated optical design. Aspherical, UHR and ED elements are used to produce well-corrected images with high sharpness, accurate color rendering and remarkable clarity in zoom and focus ranges. Complementing the optics is a dual-focus system, which uses a linear motor and a stepper motor, to provide especially fast and accurate focusing performance. In addition, the lens has a weather-sealed design for use in harsh conditions and an 11-blade rounded diaphragm contributes to a pleasant bokeh quality with smooth transitions between the focused and out-of-focus regions of the image.

  • The standard zoom is designed for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras, however, it can also be used with APS-C models where it provides an equivalent focal length range of 36-105mm.
  • The bright constant maximum aperture f/2.8 maintains constant illumination throughout the zoom range and offers greater control over depth of field.
  • Three aspherical elements and an ultra-high refractive index element help minimize distortions and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range to maintain sharpness and illumination from edge to edge.
  • Four extra-low dispersion elements greatly reduce chromatic aberrations and color stripes to produce a high degree of clarity and color accuracy.
  • A dual-focus system employs a linear motor and stepper motor to deliver impressively fast, accurate and quiet autofocus performance.
  • The manual focus clutch allows you to simply push or pull the focus range to quickly switch between AF and MF focus modes.
  • Splash, dust and freeze proof design works in adverse weather conditions down to -14°F.
  • The rounded diaphragm of 11 blades contributes to a pleasant bokeh quality.
