The LUMIX GX7 offers the highest photographic quality in a solid magnesium alloy body, an ideal choice for amateurs and photography professionals. The new Micro Four Thirds of PANASONIC stands out, among others, for offering higher quality, even in dimly lit environments, having manual and creative controls that allow users to customize their photographs and videos.

The GX7 gets amazing images by capturing all the details of the environment thanks to the excellent resolution, image processing and color reproduction. Making the most of the new and evolved 16-megapixel Live MOS digital sensor and the new Venus Engine processor, images are processed with great clarity even in low-light situations, thus improving the results of the GX1, its predecessor. In this way, with the new model you can select a sensitivity of up to 25600 ISO.

The AF contrast system delivers excellent results in both speed and accuracy, thanks to the speed of the camera and lenses at 240fps. A variety of AF functions, including LOW-light AF, Pin-point AF, and single-shot AF, enable photo capture in a variety of situations.

One of the most outstanding features of the new GX7 is the 90-degree folding viewfinder, which allows the user to enjoy a new viewing angle for more flexible use. The viewfinder, with an equivalent resolution of 2764K, reproduces 100% of the color space of adobe RGB to ensure high visibility in all types of situations. The 3-inch touchscreen and 1040K resolution is also foldable up and down. The GX7 allows the use of the 1/8000 high-speed shutter, for a better result with high-speed lenses. The Image Stabilizer (as effective as the MEGA O.I.S. in conventional DSLM lenses) is integrated into the camera body, allowing it to be used with other classic lenses that the photographer already has, in an optimal way. This model also supports Focus Peaking for more precise focus control.

The LUMIX GX7 also includes Full HD 1920 x 1080 video recording, at 50p (Hz), with progressive AVCHD or MP4 output and stereo sound. Being the LUMIX G range known for offering a higher quality of video than the rest of the interchangeable lens cameras, the new model again presents improvements in this regard. AF and Tracking AF can also be activated for video recording. Cinematic-looking 24p video, with a bit rate of up to 28 Mbps or P/A/S/M mode, delivers a highly expressive result and excellent quality. The quality of video recording has been greatly improved thanks to the new Live MOS digital sensor. Users can also record high-quality sound with Dolby® Digital, while the windbreaker function prevents background noise from being recorded.
