thePanasonic DMW-YAGH Lumix for GH4 interface unit is designed to give the Lumix DMC-GH4 camera the video, audio and power connectivity needed for professional video workflows. When connected to the GH4, the interface unit has two mono-line XLR inputs or condenser microphones, and gives you volume control independent of the left and right channels. There is also an audio level display monitor and +48V phantom power for each channel. . On the front of the unit you will find a pair of holes from the screws facing the front, which provide expandability for bar systems and greater stability for PL mountsWhen it comes tovideo outputs, the interface unit offers four BNC connectors - two capable 3G-SDI and two capable HD-SDI. It generates quad-link 4K SDI video in 4:2:2 10-bit, dual-link 4:2:2 10-bit 1080p at 60fps, or four simultaneous 1080p streams up to 30fps – all time-coded. The interface unit also has a BNC connector for timecode input, and converts the GH4's micro HDMI output to a full-size HDMI output. For power, a 4-pin XLR 12 V DC input is available. Note: The interface unit is not powered by the GH4 and requires an external 4-pin XLR 12 V DC power supply for use. Note: When using 4:2:2/10- bit output, simultaneous recording of video to a/SDHC SDXC memory card on the DMC-GH4 is not possible.
