With a new 16.05-megapixel Live MOS sensor, venus engine image processor, and high ISO sensitivity (from ISO 200 to ISO 12800 expandable to ISO 125 to ISO 25600 in extended mode), the Lumix GH3 achieves incredible video and photo quality, even in low-light situations. 3DNR and MNR work together to achieve excellent noise reduction.

Quality is also present in video recording. Advances in sensors enable extremely sharp video recording, either at 1080 50p Full HD AVCHD with a bitrate of 28 Mbps or recording videos in MOV1 format with 72Mbps on ALL-I. In addition, thanks to the high sensitivity, the camera captures all the details with cinematographic quality, even in low light conditions. As far as the file type is concerned, you can choose between MP4, MOV and AVCHD for greater compatibility.

The new Lumix G from PANASONIC differs from the rest by being the most robust of the Lumix G family. The camera body, made of magnesium alloy, is splash and dust resistant so you can continue to shoot or record videos even in adverse weather situations. Another difference of the GH3 with respect to its predecessor is its 3-inch touch screen. PANASONIC has decided in this case to replace the LED screen with an OLED, but maintains the mobility of this that is capable of tilting 180º horizontally and 270º vertically. The Lumix GH3 incorporates Wi-Fi, being the first of the Micro Four Thirds system to incorporate this function.

The Lumix GH3 features the Light Speed AF focusing system that allows you to capture moving subjects with clarity and precision. It is also possible to achieve sequences of moving images with burst shooting, which has PANASONIC improved to achieve up to 6 frames per second in maximum resolution or 20 fps in 4 megapixels. Apart from continuous AF in video mode, focus tracking and face recognition are also available. The touch AF in the video allows the user to enjoy a professional look when focusing.

In video recording, users can choose Creative Video Mode. Exposure Mode allows users to choose any of four manual video modes: AE Program / Aperture Priority / Speed Priority / Manual Exposure. The DMC-GH3 has fast and slow motion that applies a variety of effects to the video timeline. In addition to the three types of fast motion video and 80% slow motion, I included 48% and 40% slow motion all in full HD. Creative Control is available in the recording of images and videos
