With its truly wireless design, extraordinarily simple operation, and 5.8 GHz interference reduction technology, the Blink 800 B2 SARAMONIC offers reporters, location recorders and interviewers a reliable digital wireless microphone system that works with any dynamic or battery-powered microphone. -Powered condenser microphone (available separately). The lightweight, miniature transmitter and receiver, which are pre-paired at the factory, use locking XLR connectors for direct connection to your compatible microphone and camera, recorder or mixer. Its internal rechargeable batteries provide up to six hours of runtime to handle multiple shots with ease.

While most wireless systems operate in the 2.4 GHz, UHF and VHF frequency ranges, the Blink 800 B2 sits in the 5.8 GHz zone, effectively eliminating the most common sources of wireless interference. With an operating range of up to 196.9 feet (line of sight), the B2 ensures reliable reception, even in large locations. In the event that multiple wireless configurations are required, three Blink 800 systems can be used at the same time (additional systems are available separately). Since they automatically change channels to maintain optimal performance, no manual configuration is required.

The Blink 800 B2 is an ideal solution to give you the freedom of not being tied by a cable when using a handheld microphone for interviews or a shotgun microphone powered in a boompole. Because there are no settings or menus to worry about, it serves as an extremely simple wireless microphone system. Pre-paired at the factory, there's nothing to do besides connect your XLR microphone to the TX-XLR transmitter and connect the RX-XLR receiver to the XLR input of your camera, recorder or mixer, turn them on and start shooting. All the complicated aspects of using a wireless microphone system happen seamlessly in the background, allowing you to focus on storytelling and getting a great shot.

Designed for dynamic and powered microphones

Since the TX-XLR transmitter does not provide phantom power, it supports operation with dynamic microphones and battery-powered condenser microphones. This makes it a great companion to traditional handheld microphones, as well as many pole-mounted shotgun microphones.

Advanced 5.8 GHz technology

The Blink 800 B2 operates in the 5.8 GHz frequency range, which is much higher and much less congested than the 2.4 GHz, UHF and VHF range. It automatically and intelligently switches channels to prevent static noise and audio losses and features a powerful 10mW wireless output power, providing an impressive range of up to 196.9' in open spaces. With up to six hours of runtime thanks to built-in lithium-ion batteries, you won't spend money on disposable batteries. The transmitter and receiver can be charged with the included USB Type-A to USB Type-C cables and can be powered in use or recharged in the field with portable USB battery packs.
