The case is designed to fit the camera without blocking access to any ports or slots, and features numerous mounting threads, a NATO rail, and a shoe holder. The side handle is mounted on both sides of the cage using its NATO clamp, and provides additional mounting threads and a shoe holder. The cable clamp plugs into the case to prevent HDMI and USB cables from being thrown away or disconnected.

The tight-fitted aluminum case protects your camera without preventing access to your camera's features, displays, ports, or battery. The camera is mounted in the cage via a 1/4"-20 screw, and the mounting surface features non-slip pads that, in addition to an M2.5 screw on the side, hold the camera securely in the cage and prevent it from twisting.

An integrated shoe holder and NATO side rail provide convenient connection points for articulated arms, external monitors, and other accessories. The cage incorporates multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI style accessory threads for additional mounting options. The bottom of the cage is threaded with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads to connect a tripod-mount camera plate.

Protect and secure your NIKON Z7, Z6 or Z5 camera cables with this smallrig HDMI and USB Type-C cable clamp. The durable aluminum clamp is compatible with the smallrig 2972 and 2243 cages for the Z7, Z6 or Z5 NIKON camera.

Designed to prevent the camera's HDMI and USB Type-C cables from accidentally disconnecting, this clamp is fixed to the side of the case with two 1/4"-20 captive screws. The cables are secured with 1/4" knurled and easy to grip. "-20 screws. Each screw adjusts a sliding block that can be tightened to fit different diameters. Two Allen wrenches are included to secure the screws.

The aluminum part of the handle features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads plus a shoe holder on the superior part of the handle to add a light, microphone, monitor, mounting arm, or other accessory.

The handle's NATO clamp attaches to a NATO rail on a platform or cage and has a sliding mechanism that allows you to slide the handle up and down within a 1.6" range for your preferred position.
