With an ISO sensitivity range from 80 to 6,400 (extended), you'll be able to seamlessly capture even scenes in dim lighting, while color reproduction enhancements will produce natural-looking skin tones.

4K15 16 videos recorded with full pixel reading

The HX95 is the first HX series camera to record 4K video (QFHD, 3840 x 2160 pixels). High-quality 4K video is achieved with a direct pixel reading that uses the full sensor, without pixel clustering to collect approximately 1.6 times the necessary information. The effect of this oversampling is images of surprising resolution, with less moiré and cut edges.

Eye AF function for perfect portraits

The camera's sophisticated Eye AF feature can be activated to automatically detect and focus the eyes of the main subjects of the shots. It detects the eyes quickly and accurately even in complicated situations, such as when the subject is looking down or when the faces are backlit or illuminated in dim light.

Continuous shooting up to 1017 frames per second

Continuous shooting at high speed of up to 10 frames per second is possible. Even when the brightness of the image changes during continuous shooting, the camera automatically adjusts it to provide optimal exposure. Images captured with continuous shooting can also be viewed, deleted, and protected in groups.

In order to give users more control over the final appearance of their photos, the HX95 offers the option to record images in RAW format. This format preserves all sensor data, so that exposure, brightness, white balance, and other aspects of the image can be easily adjusted with image editing software.

Assisted zoom

If you lose track of a moving subject while framing with zoom, the assisted zoom feature will help you get it back. Schedule it on the C (custom) button. Then, you just have to hold it down to automatically zoom in and frame the subject again; then release the button. The camera's zoom will quickly return to the original focal length, so you can recapture the subject.

High-frame rate HD video recording of fast-moving subjects

You can capture fast-moving subjects thanks to high-frame rate HD recording, up to 120p (NTSC) or 100p (PAL), to produce stunning slow-motion footage during editing. The high bit rate, up to 100 Mbps16, ensures detailed images.
