excellent low-light performance
The combination of a large 1/3.1 type MOS Sensor and a bright, 20x F1.8 Optical Lens yields beautiful images even in low light. Shooting in dark places is also enhanced by a bright LED light (300 lx at 1 m). And the HC-MDH3 comes equipped with a diffusion filter that softens the light source.
Shoulder-mount camcorder with professional features
Stable shoulder shooting is packed into a well-balanced package with a large grip and zoom lever, plus a large-diameter hand ring for smooth, positive operation. User buttons and switches are efficiently designed for simple, straightforward control.
Image Tone allows the user to choose image quality
Two image quality settings: Standard and Sharp - are preset for easy switching of color and other tones as desired. When the Sharp setting is chosen instead of Standard, Gamma is compensated with high contrast, the color matrix becomes more vibrant and sharpness is applied to enhance the clarity of vivid images.
Dual SD card slot for endless replay recording
Simultaneous recording records the same data on both cards. When the first card reaches its maximum capacity, relay recording automatically switches to the second card. Hot Swap function allows card swapping during shooting, so recorded cards can be exchanged with blank cards for infinite recording. * * The file is split every 10 hours.
