12mm f2 NCS CS Samyang lens

The Samyang 12mm f2 NCS CS lens is a specifically designed primary wide-angle lens. To provide a focal length equivalent to 35mm of 24mm and a wide viewing angle of 83°, this lens is well suited for architectural, interior and landscape images. Its fast f/maximum aperture 2.0 is beneficial for working in low light conditions.

An aspherical element, a hybrid aspherical element and three elements made of low dispersion glass have been incorporated into the optical design to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortion for sharper, high contrast images along the frame. In addition, a Nano Coating System (NCS) has been applied to the lens elements in order to reduce surface reflections and prevent lens flare and ghosting. A six-leaf aperture closes to create a full circle nearby and the lenses minimum focus distance is 7.9". The lens cylinder is constructed of an aluminum alloy with a filter diameter of 67mm in diameter and includes a removable petal-style parasol.
