Thanks to its 1:1 macro capacity, the smallest details offered by nature can be captured in full format. It belongs to the Super performance (SP) line of TAMRON lenses, which are distinguished by their extraordinary optical and mechanical quality.

Its high speed at maximum aperture allows for spectacularly attractive blurred background effects that make the central motif of the image stand out. It can also be used for low-light photographs.

A new autofocus system allows the user to manually control the focus at all times without pressing the AF/MF mode switch button. The lens carries a focus control washer to ensure safe grip and precise control, particularly important aspects in macro photography.
