The GK1555T-82QD is a carbon fiber tripod kit composed of a Traveler GT1555T tripod and a GH1382TQD ball joint.

The GT1555T Series 1 in carbon fiber is a lightweight 5-section tripod that folds on itself by 180°. This professional tripod is characterized by having Carbon eXact tubes of greater rigidity and upper leg diameters (leg diameter superior 35.5mm).
The gt1555T GITZO can withstand a load of up to 10Kg, weighing only 1.03Kg. Its maximum height is 138cm. recommended for use with camera and 135mm lens (up to 200mm). With the short column included we can lower the tripod up to 20cm with respect to the ground for low shooting angles and macro photography. The fast central column is easily removable, transforming it into a tripod at ground level allowing you to capture a very wide range of perspectives. The GT1555T tripod's 5 leg sections are secured with a G-lock Ultra twist lock mechanism with O-rings inside that keep dust and dirt out of the mechanism. The superior part of the tripod is completely new, redesigned to offer greater rigidity as well as the angle selectors of the legs provide a wider grip area for a better fit. The tripod has a stabilizer hook at the bottom of the column to add weight and increase stability when the terrain or weight of the equipment requires it. A wide range of ball joints and other accessories can be added thanks to the 1/4'' and 3/8'' thread located on the superior part of it. Like all other GITZO ball joints, the GH1382TQD is very versatile and perfectly balanced to ensure extreme smoothness, precision of movements and secure locking.

The GH1382TQD Series 1 D-quick release center ball joint is the thinnest of the entire range of professional GITZO ball joints. It weighs only 390gr and ensures a load of up to 11Kg. With a height of 10.4cm, it is compact enough to fit between the closed legs of a Traveler Series 0 and Series 1 tripod. This model is characterized by an independent 360° panning lock, for providing smoothness of movements and for its construction in high quality aluminum and high resistance. The GH1382TQD center ball joint comes with an Arca-Swiss short shoe (GS5370SD) which is also perfect for all D-plates in GITZO. The quick-release shoe is kept safe thanks to a locking screw and has a bubble level that helps keep the horizon straight. This ball joint allows the entry of almost all types of Arca-Swiss shoe of other brands.
