W300 Nikon camera

Characterized by its rugged exterior, the NIKON yellow COOLPIX W300 is a smart point-and-shoot tool with a reinforced physical design, along with suitable multimedia imaging capabilities. Designed for adventure, and even everyday mishaps, the camera has a waterproof rating for depths up to 100', as well as shockproof for drops up to 7.9' in height and freeze-proof for temperatures up to 14°C. As far as images are concerned, a high-resolution 16 MP BSI CMOS sensor benefits both photo taking and video recording, with the ability to shoot continuously up to 7 fps, record video in UHD 4K/30p and produce low-noise images with a sensitivity range of ISO 100-6400. A 5x optical zoom lens ranges from wide-angle to telephoto distances, and the vibration reduction helps minimize the appearance of camera vibration for sharper images on the handheld. In addition, the W300 also incorporates SnapBridge wireless connectivity, which uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to seamlessly share images and remotely control the camera from a paired device. Built-in GPS is also available to geotag your images on the camera.

16MP BSI CMOS sensor

With a 16MP 1/2.3" BSI CMOS sensor, the W300 is capable of recording high-resolution still images and 4K/30p UHD video with low noise and high clarity. The sensor also offers a sensitivity range of ISO 100-6400, for working in a variety of lighting conditions and a continuous shooting speed of 7 fps to suit the photography of moving subjects.

NIKKOR 5x optical zoom lens and vibration reduction

Spanning focal lengths from wide angle to telephoto, the 5x optical zoom lens covers an equivalent range of 24-120mm to suit photography of a wide range of subject types. Benefiting from lens range, optical VR (vibration reduction) helps minimize the feeling of camera movement when taking the handheld, and electronic VR is available to help stabilize film images as it moves.

SnapBridge Wi-Fi/Bluetooth and GPS

SnapBridge wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to enable wireless image sharing on a linked mobile device, as well as the ability to control the camera remotely from your smartphone or tablet. The built-in GPS also allows you to geotagged your images while taking pictures, and the camera also features a Compass, altimeter, depth gauge, and barometer to record the environmental data from your shot.

Body design

Beyond the sturdy body construction, it also has an ergonomic design and a great right-hand grip for one-handed shooting or for use while wearing gloves. The 3.0" 921k-dot rear LCD monitor has an anti-glare coating for easier viewing in bright conditions, and a dedicated tool button on the camera body gives you easy access to GPS, eCompass and other location functions. Also, if you wear Gloves a lot, the camera modes can be changed by simply moving the camera.

• The built-in LED light can be used to illuminate subjects in the foreground or can be used as a flashlight in the dark.
• Creative mode and special effects allow you to creatively adjust the look of your image on camera, including the ability to mimic a fisheye lens, miniaturize the scene, or affect dynamic range or saturation.
• Smart portrait mode and glamorous retouching can be used to optimize your portraits using seven enhancement effects, along with 12 retouching features, such as teeth whitening and skin smoothing, to produce the perfect portrait.
• The EN-EL12 rechargeable lithium-ion battery has an approximate capacity of 280 shots per charge and can be quickly recharged in just 2 hours and 20 minutes.
