85mm T1.5 VDSLR Samyang lens

Using a multilayer coating process for consistent color reproduction from lens to lens, the Samyang 85mm T1.5 VDSLRII cinema lens for SONY E-Mount responds to the challenge of assembling a lens set over time. The lens comes in SONY 's E-Mount and features an industry-standard gear approach and iris rings that share a common position with other cinema lenses Samyang VDSLTII. To help focus shooters who have to work on both sides of the lens, the aperture and focus scales are marked on both sides of the lens.

This 85mm lens produces a viewing angle of 28.3° when used with a full-frame sensor camera or a 35mm DSLR camera. Hybrid aspherical lenses deliver clearly defined images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focusing distance of 3.6" from the lens. A removable lens cover provides flash protection when shooting without a matte case and the threaded front of the lens accepts 72mm filter rings.
