Designed specifically to meet the needs of the digital photography industry, the ColorChecker^® Digital SG chart includes the highest quality color reference standards available. It contains 140 patches, chosen specifically for location in the color space to expand the color gamut and allow you to create profiles that use the maximum capacity of your digital camera and scanner.

The ColorChecker Digital SG chart includes the colors of the standard ColorChecker lens, many of these patches represent natural objects, such as human skin, foliage and blue sky. More additional colors as a skin tone reference allow you to achieve greater accuracy and consistency across a wide variety of skin tones, and grayscaling gives you exact control over your camera's color balance to maintain a neutral look no matter the light source. The ColorChecker Digital SG can also be used to create a white balance with your digital camera to ensure an accurate, uniform and neutral white in any lighting condition.

The ColorChecker Digital SG provides you with the same benefits of the ColorChecker Classic in terms of comparing digital reproductions with real scenes or test cards. The ColorChecker Digital SG takes a step beyond the conventional ColorChecker by representing a wider color gamut and providing you with greater refinement of individual colors. Simply include the ColorChecker Digital SG in your first photo if you are shooting in JPEG or conventional, or in any photo in the series if you are shooting in RAW. Later in the studio, use the photo to compare, measure, and analyze differences in color rendering in any color rendering system. This standard lens will help you avoid costly errors and color correction with the post-event trial method.
