18 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor
The EOS 7D offers superb resolution thanks to its 18MP CMOS sensor. It gives the photographer flexibility and creativity.

Up to 8 frames per second
Capture 14-bit and 18MP images up to 8fps as standard, in bursts of up to 126 JPEGs in large format, so photographers can capture detail and action.

High ISO configuration
For handheld shooting in low light, the EOS 7D II offers ISO speeds of up to 6400. The ISO sensitivity can be extended up to 12800 for low-light scenes where you do not want to use the flash.

Smart Viewfinder
The EOS 7D's viewfinder with 1.0x magnification provides the most complete and natural view of the subject. The smart viewfinder offers shooting information that has never been provided on an EOS before, such as the dual-axis electronic level to ensure perfect horizons.

AF system with 19 cross-type focus points
New AF sensor design with zone and point AF modes that offer the photographer new ways to select AF points. All points are cross-type and the center point offers f/2.8 and f/5.6 sensors.
